Every couple is unique and not everybody wants the same things in a wedding film. If you are private people who don’t want cameras pointed at you while you have an intimate moment to share words & tears, that’s totally allowed. If you want to speak directly into the camera or be filmed & mic’ed as you read letters or private vows to each other, hell yeah, let’s do it! This is your wedding film and it is meant to be a representation of your story. I don’t want to put myself & my work in a box & I don’t want to put you & your love in one either. My primary goal & artistic vision is to capture you & your partner in your own style, not try to fit you into mine. You don’t have to define yourself as free spirited or traditional, sophisticated or alternative, you just need to show up as you are with the person you love.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we really even need a wedding video? 

YESSSSSSS! Even if you don’t hire me, please hire a videographer! Think about it–all your wedding vendors & expenses (the cake, the band, the flowers, the food, etc) really only survive through your photos & film (& memories which are sadly fleeting). PLUS, when else will all of your most important people be in the same place under such loving & joyful circumstances?? Not to be morbid, but your loved ones won’t live forever & having those memories to look back on will only increase in value over time. In my humble opinion, a film is a non-negotiable. Find someone whose work, vision, & personality you vibe with and hire them! If that's me, let's talk!

We’re eloping. Can we still hire you?

Yes! I would love to film your intimate wedding celebration. Where are we going??

Can we opt to only do super 8 footage?

Long answer short, no. There are several reasons why I do the film & digital hybrid which I would be happy to explain on our call!

Do you offer drone footage?

I have a drone but use it only if the landscape or setting really call for it. If this is something that is important to you, let me know! Weather & location permitting, we will make it happen!

Should we add a second shooter?

Totally up to you. About 90% of my films are shot by only me. With that being said, I am only one person with 2 hands. (If you have a cloning machine, hit me up!) So if you’re having a larger wedding or have multiple events planned at the same time or just want more angles & footage, I would recommend adding one on!

Do you offer raw footage?

No, BUT I offer something better! A “documentary edit” add-on which is essentially cleaned up raw footage which features the best moments of the day with their original audio. This can even be added up to a year after the event & you realize how everything flew by & you just want to witness those irreplaceable moments again.

Can we set up a payment plan?

Definitely! A non-refundable 50% of your package is due with your contract signature to reserve your date. After that, pay whenever you can as long as the remaining balance is paid 30 days before your wedding date.

Do you do photography too?

Yes, but not weddings! I photograph families, couples, pets, branding, headshots, etc. I’m down for it all! My approach to photography is very similar to videography. Do we have to have super 8 footage?

If you’re not into the vintage/retro vibes or are working with a stricter budget, no worries! I have a digital only package that will still capture that timeless, whimsical feel.
